after several months mine dispenses by itself. . . that is you come into the room and there is a big puddle of soap on the basin. I had to pull the cartridge because it was running almost continuously.

Wow, that sucks! Mine actually still work fine (I have 2, one for kitchen and one for bathroom). The only issue I have is that sometimes the steam from the hot water will make it dispense soap. And of course the accidental brush up against it. Other than that, works fine.

My dispenser keeps dispensing soap by it self. When I come into the room there's a big puddle of soap on the basin. Any suggestion?

Excellent video! Have you ever had to change the rechargeable battery inside it? It’s the same size as a AA but delivers about 4.2 volts. I’d love to know where I can find a replacement. Thank you!

Thank you! And no, I haven't had to change the rechargeable battery. It's worked just fine for me these past 2 years I've used it.

@@cmenjivar813 We’ve happily used ours for about two years or more, too. It works like new except it requires more charging now, which is expected as rechargeable batteries age. I’m still searching for a replacement battery and hope Simple Human will clue me in as to where I can find one!

how come yours clipped in, mine only clip in when i press that orange btn

Hey, I'm actually not sure. You shouldn't have to press the orange button for the soap cartridge to click in place. The button is only there to release the cartridge when it's empty. Yours may have a broken mechanism or something.

Technology for making human lazier!

Well, I wouldn't say lazy. Just efficient.

not making people lazy at all. We have had a senser bin for 9 years. It is more hygenic and has lasted longer than pedal bins and touch lids.
