Hi Payal In life nothing stays the same. It is normal to miss this house but you will make new memories in your new house. You have a loving family and that is enough. Your front yard is beautiful. Wait a year or so before adding new garden beds. It is a lot of work maintaining gardens. You should get the inside of the house the way you want it and then tackle the outside. Moving is stressful so take care both of you. wishing all the best in your new journey. So sorry about your father.

Lemon grass is perennial in zones 9 and 10. In colder zones it is treated as an annual, so better to grow in containers and bring inside garage as soon as frost starts setting in because it is a tropical plant and hates cold harsh winters
