Pay attention to the heartburn/epigastric issues. Had a pt in the ER complain of heartburn and we grabbed an ekg just because. STEMI, almost immediate heparin drip, and real quick trip to the cath lab. Zero mention of chest pain or difficulty breathing. Only complaint at all was unrelieved epigastric pain.

Chest stiffness, deep burning sensation and sharp pains which may last 20 seconds...this is what I experienced and doctors didn't take me seriously because I was 56. Ended up double bypass heart surgery. Listen to your body only you knows it!

Very useful especially for visual learners. I liked the simple nursing app way better than kaplan. I just get bored and sleepy most of the time. Do NOT focus on chest pain. I hate going into the E.R. and being ignored for lack of chest pain. I've had 5 heart attacks with the first one leading to open heart surgery. Being sick to my stomach with nausea is my biggest symptom. I've also had 3 cardiac stents on NORMAL ECG's and was almost sent home each time.

Say Yes to the dress ... you have great mnenomics !! Also that anxiety studying I can subconsciously relate too .. over the last 5 years I have been studying NCLEX and it is very unconventional where an outsider would not take me serious with all of these other distractions going on but there was a reason.. In the past I had to have a completely quiet environment when studying.. complete silence and my test were hit or miss but I did notice when taking computerized tests that I had to adjust to the environment in order to do well or I did horrible on the section... Great mnenomics, great being down to earth and your energy is on point as well.. It is also nice to hear about NCLEX similarities; however, evidence based practice is evidence based practice BUT it is nice to have great direction and you give great direction which is priceless. You can't pay enough for great direction because time put in to study is still effort and time put into study.
