Tip: If your jet is super fast or has enormous wings then use structural and then use XML or Overload to set allowControlSurfaces to true, because if not then you'll have wing flex which will ruin good builds and create unnecessary trouble.

you can press the space bar to see CoM (center of mass) CoL (center of lift) and CoT (center of thrust). using these you can balance the plane much easier and faster

the "antenna" in most cases is a tool that calculates mach speed from what i know

Yess you are right, it calculates the pressure that being created in it from the compressing air and gives the speed reading !

It actually moves forward and back to regulate how much air is getting in. I believe you are referring to pitot tubes. Those are smaller than the "antenna".

mine has forward-facing wings, two vertical stablizers and 16 mini guns that are fixed and cannot turn

Yes sure, the inlet just needs to be exposed to open air, it can be anywhere you wish, I put this in front for looks :)

I like the tutorial but i dont want my plane to look like that cuz i dont want a delta wing one. And dont want the mig style front of the plane. So if it looks different would it still work?

Yes, as long as the CoM, CoL, CoT are in this order as I mentioned. Make your jet design whatever you want, as long as the CoM, CoL, CoT MUST be on the same X axis and similar position to the Y axis. ( Note. CoM MUST BE ALWAYS INFRONT OF CoL, never behind, or else the craft will do flips, add nose weights to prevent this from happening.) You can see the CoM, CoL, CoT by pressing the button to save your craft, its the button icon with 3 balls on top of a triangle

I used to use it before the tuner got added in the game itself, so it was more easy for me to use the tuner mod, but both are equally efficient!
