Getting ready to install new levers for this season of riding. This looks like decent information that gets the concept across. I'll keep this in mind as I use the Kawasaki manual for the process. Thank you.

Not sure if you still check comments. But I’m having some trouble “reassembling” everything. I can get it all set on either end, either on the clutch cover, or on the lever. But it’s too tight to do both. I’ve tried adjusting it everywhere I can. It seems like it’s just tight enough for how it’s supposed to work when it’s all set up. The one time I did get everything connected, there was almost zero tension, and it wouldn’t work properly. As a note, I had to remove everything for a clutch plate replacement. I got the clutch plates replaced no problem. I’m just stuck on the cable now.

Having the same issue with no tension, and getting the cable arm to catch on the pull rod. Did you find a solution?
@temp61564 ай бұрын
@@jcritt326 I did, but honestly, I just fucked with it until it worked right. Just watch the reassembly portion of this video until it works just right. Wish I could give you a better answer. Best of luck!

The problem I'm having is when I set my clutch lever to the "closest" position for my short stubby fingers, then the clutch doesn't disengage all the way even when I remove all the slack. I have to set the lever to be just slightly out of reach in order to be able to get enough pull.

Unless you are talking about adjustable levers, then you are doing it wrong.

What if the lube doesn't come trough to the bottom when lubing from the top? I am using the tool properly
@SimpleSimon3 ай бұрын
Try moving the cable in and out, if that doesnt work then try lubing it again after a couple of rides there may be some gunk stuck in the cable. Thanks for watching!!

Have you ever tried accosato clutch kit? I have problem on getting a free play with accossato clutch, it's been tight even at the end of the adjuster
@SimpleSimon3 жыл бұрын
Sorry have not tried that type of clutch kit. I would contact the clutch manufacture.

Hows the auto tune working?

Working great seems to lean out the engine more than adding fuel, next time I just may do a ecu flash. Thanks for watching

Does it not matter how you adjust each of those nuts in front of the clutch cover? Assuming the clutch lever has the right (nickel sized) amount of free play?
@SimpleSimon5 жыл бұрын
I would think it does not matter, it is easier to adjust at the lever than the cover.
