I guess you can, but it will give you a different texture as compared to using organza. Which I think will look nice too.

The height was 2inches. And the length is the total measurements of your front and back OFF SHOULDER minus your ROUND SHOULDER.( your results/2). so mine was around 9inches( for each sleeve) HOPE THE EXPLANATION HELPS.
