Wow - that's a lot of fabric. I love how your sleeves turned out. I have that pattern but don't know if I'll ever make it. I can't wait to see your stays. Happy stitching.

Thanks you very much. The back runs very wide and I had to add more pleats. The skirt should be 1 on fold instead of 2. I need to add the bump also. I need to sew another 18th Century dress. Always good to have 2

Thank you for explaining the pockets. I emailed Simplicity and they said there was no pocket. I knew they were wrong!! Do you think if I just sewed it closed it would matter? So if I left the pockets out on the seems would it matter?
