I rarely add sentiments to my cards until I’m ready to send them or I just leave the front as a showcase and write my sentiments on the inside. My stress release is creating the front of a card with nothing in mind other than creating something that is pleasing to my eyes.

Loved this video! I'm a paper hoarder as well. I have so much that when it comes time to make cards, I spend way too much time choosing just the right ones. I'm going to use this method to get cards completed in a shorter amount of time. Hopefully I'll make some inroads into my stash, then of course I'll buy more! HaHa! And also good tip on using the 65 pound paper to layer. I'm tired of buying extra postage! Thanks for sharing your amazing skills with us! I love your friendly delivery!

I just started cardmaking by the end of May 2023. I'm a retired pre-school teacher and it never occurred to me to make cards even though I used it all the time with my kids. In Puerto Rico, we don't have a Joanne's, Michael's or a Hobby Lobby. As a result, whatever cardstock I can buy it's at Wal-Mart's craft section. Yup, very limited and the GSM is extremely flimsy. I flew to IN last March to see my grandkids and bought some crafting items. I bought 2 paper pads and didn't know what to do with them without stamping, using dies, ect. Thanks so much for triggering ideas to use my pads. ❤

@@IncludeaThankYou Thank you for responding. This was the second to last video in the series and you covered off what your plans were in the last one. You mentioned inks, tools, more paper info, die-cutting and the list goes on. I this you got me covered in general perhaps not labelled intermediate and advanced cardmaking but that will fall under your plans so it seems. I am off to explore more of what you have shared. I am so glad to have found you. Regards.

I also use the front. Overs - for that one I would cut away the central strip, get 4 sets cutting a block of 4 squares as they are and putting the 2 blocks of 2 squares together, So 5 card front with most of the work all ready done

Great paper pack. Love it! Your cards fronts turned out amazing. The paper would make a stunning journal. I hope that we get to see you making a journal soon. In USA you guys can get dies, paper packs, cardstock etc. for so cheap. Such a blessing. In South Africa I paid, just for 125 plain white A2 size cardstock, R225 ($16). Keep your videos coming. I am hooked on your channel. Thanks for being you. 💜🤗

Beautiful cards Desiree. I really liked the papers you used and would like to see you make a journal out of them. I'm always astounded by the low price of paper in your country. 65 pound paper for mats is hard to find so I usually use my SU 100 pound cardstock (20 sheets for 9 dollar) for mats. And when you can find paper suitable for mats it is expensive and usually in yuk colours. Not your nice colour coordinated Micheals stacks.

Hey There!, There were may cuts on this video, what I can give is the card base is cut at 8 1/2 in x 7 in and then scored along the 7 in side to make it 8 1/2 in x 3 in slimline card base. All the other cuts are just general to create the designs. I always cut my pattern paper first and then if I want a matt for it I cut that 1/2 in or a 1/4 in larger to give that border. I hope that helps! Have fun with your cuts...
