Exactly, I feel like all pattern companies should sould do sew-a-longs for requested patterns. The directions that come with those patterns can be quite confusing.

I made this yesterday and I'm so in love with the dress! This was my first try at sewing with a pattern and I found sewing along with the video extremely helpful. I did find the bust seems to gape quite a lot at the top which was surprising as my measurement matched up with the pattern recommendation, so next challenge is to have a go at tailoring that more to my body :)

Okay so yesterday 9-3-19 I'm walking through Walmart going through all of their really really unorganized and chaos is what I call a drawers for patterns and I came across this pattern I saw that it was a bigger sizes cuz I'm a bigger girl but I really was looking for something for my son to make a bow tie so I didn't grab it then again I'm walking through Jo-Ann's later on that day and what's displayed print center this pattern again like I said I wasn't looking for a I'm pattern for me I was looking for my son then I'm here today not doing nothing just you know checking out your videos for ideas and what do I see a sew-along for this pattern I have to go back today to Jo-Ann's and grab it thank you God must be calling me to make this dress so I'm going to make it and I will definitely post to your Instagram after I'm done thank you you're amazing and I love you and your husband's She Sew He Sew I like that y'all doing the d... thing Real Talk from The Purple Unicorn Miss D.P.C.A. Amber Navarro could be you just need to cut a smaller size there or take some out. Also use shorter piece of elastic.
