Simplicity Regent Lawnmower Deck Fix - Prevent structural damage with this quick modification

Been fighting a belt issue on a Regent and also noticed the deck pushing out far to the side when turning one the blades. Going out to check the deck now.....even if it ins't broken this chain idea is great! Thank you for sharing your ingenuity of this fix.

Thank you!!! NOW is the time to do it. BEFORE you have the issue. Not everybody has access to a welder so it is best to PREVENT the crack in the first place.

Those hooks are they 5/16 or 7/16? Also could u also use coated cable as well

Going from memory, but I think that was a 5/16 Cold Shut from TSC and 2/0 passing link chain.
