Simplisafe Doorbell Review 2021

How about telling us something about how well the "interactive" features work. Is the audio any good? What is the time taken to notify you remotely that someone is at the door? Can you use the camera "live" while it recording video after motion detection. I have just purchased a simplisafe outdoor camera which is supposed to have all of these and it is zero out of ten. Although the motion detection works and the camera does record, it does not always trigger when it should and it also on two occasions has produced one minute of blank video. And the siren didn't even work when I tripped the alarm. The audio functions less well than a ten dollar Chinese one. Seems that the doorbell version is no better. I don't know, you cannot buy it in the UK.

Looks like there is a decent delay in the live video. Do you find that delay an issue or nothing to be concerned with?

I had 9.34 colts coming out and it did NOT work until I increased colts to 18.

Ugh. This doorbell is a piece of crap. All of their camera options are. If your internet goes out or you have any variation in WiFi connection, it’s a nightmare getting them reconnected.

Hate this doorbell. Sucks more than anything. It's just a sucky button. 3 years blinking white red green. I never got it working. Sucks.......
