This video really takes me back. In 1969 I was an Air Force SSgt in Taiwan. I lived in BeiTou. My yard man [Lao Wang] operated a Xiao Lung Bao stand in the BeiTou night market. [I spoke Chinese fluently] I used to go down town and work for him at the stand making XLBs. We beguiled the Chinese folks who came there - they couldn't understand how he could have a "round Eye' working for him at his business. I had a wonderful time and really rounded out my spoken Chinese. 🤠
