SIMPLY STUNNING - Neutral Extreme Sheen Metallics!

Wow! I decided to do an Acrylic Pour Swipe Series and keep the first one simple using an almost monochromatic palette with just some subtle natural colouring. I choose to use Payne's Grey and Titanium White as my base and then ad a hint of colour using the Deco Art Extreme Sheen colors of Champagne Gold and Pewter. The Lacing in this swipe is just gorgeous. I'm so happy with this painting. Let me know what you think...

Hi Karen, I mixed these with a pouring medium made up of 1 part Liquitex Pouring medium to 1 part Australian Floetrol.

Thanks Jinan, I used a medium of half Aussie Floetrol and half liquitex pouring medium. Then I added some of the Monte Marte gel medium to the Deco art paints as I needed to thicken them up. 😉

Hi Chantal, I estimate what the canvas needs overall. Some times I get it right, sometimes I don't 😉 I mixed my paint for this piece with a pouring medium of 1 part liquitex pouring medium to 1part Aussie Floerol.

What did you mix your paints with, water or PM or maybe both? And what were the proportions?

I mix my paints with a pm of 1 part liquitex pouring medium to 1 part Aussie Floetrol. Then add it to get a nice consistency depending on the paint brand. I'm starting to get the hang of what that looks like 😉

@@lindachampigny7436 That's right Linda but my paints have liquitex pouring medium in it as well. My CA is only Floetrol.
