He has held world championships in two weight classes, including the WBO super-middleweight since May 2019, and previously the WBO middleweight title from 2015 to 2018. Saunders is the first boxer from the Travelling community to become a two-weight world champion. At the regional level, he held the European, British, and Commonwealth middleweight titles between 2012 and 2015. As an amateur, Saunders represented Great Britain at the 2008 Olympics, reaching the second round of the welterweight bracket. In the same year, he won gold at the EU Championships. Great video... Trying to figure out why Eddy suggested a fight between Billy and Canelo.. no comparison, look at who Canelo has fought and beaten vs the boxers Billy has competed against. Billy is no match for Canelo... Eddy just trying to take care of (pay) his people.. there are way better fighters out there who are more deserving for a match with the P4P best fighter in the world.

As great as billy Joe Saunders is, he doesn’t compare to a guy like Canelo or triple GGG. From what I heard he is fighting Canelo in May. Hell he may even go the full 12 rounds with Canelo(and that’s a MAYBE, that’s putting it generously) but otherwise there ain’t no way he is beaten Canelo. He has a fighters chance but that’s it
