Fir, in case you were wondering, when the gun wasn't aiming straight, you had the magnises rune on, and there is a glitch where when you aim and throw something while you have magnises, it goes to the top right of your cross hair. So, you might want to keep this in mind if you want to play this mod again.

I'm crying at this being my first ever introduction to the Zelda game. I wanted to see some playthroughs before possibly buying it, and this was the first one that appeared in the search. Love it so far.

I mean it might have been interesting for him to visit some of the outlying villages and do some of the optional story quests with the gun as well, but it also would have taken a while. So basically this is the casual any% experience where you ignore most of the game because it's open world and the final boss is over there. There's a lot more of the world you can choose to experience.

Not sure if it would work for the final puzzle but there's still probably some solution to skip bombs there, too. Or, now that I think of it, you could just grab bomb arrows from one of the chests... Yeah, that would definitely work better.

Few people realize that while the flying guardians have a weakspot in their eyes, there's also a silver disc on the top that's a weakspot and there's 3 smaller weakspots on each of the propellers which will cause the propeller to explode and throw him off balance

There's a weird bug in BotW that has never been patched where when you have the magnisis rune equipped your aim gets offset to the top-right when throwing a weapon. If you pay attention to when Fir's lasers shoot slanted, he has the magnisis rune equipped. You can test this out in-game for yourself.

This only reinforces my belief that Breath of the Wild needs an FPS spin-off. Link is the generalist. Rocks an AR-15 or AK-47. Basic assault rifle. If you've played FPS games like COD and Halo, you'll feel right at home with Link. Revali is the ranged expert, so he gets a sniper. Daruk is the explosives expert, so he rolls around with an RPG built to be able to handle whatever the Goron puts it through. Urbosa has a sawed-off shotgun that reloads automatically when holstered right behind Daybreaker. So while she normally uses her scimitar and shield, if a opening shows itself, she can reach behind, pull out the shotgun, and blast whatever Boko or Moblin finds itself unfortunate enough to be near an angry Gerudo with a shotgun.
