The fact that Konami reprinted these boxes after 20-ish years is extremely cool. Legend of Blue-Eyes looks like it's the most fun to open since it has most of the iconic cards in it.

Metal Raiders was the first pack of Yugioh I ever opened as a kid and had so many epic foils. I would most definitely open that box. LOB was great as well but with it being the first ever set, I would probably leave that one sealed as it would more than likely hold a higher value. 🔥 Great opening as usual!

I remember when I was a kid I went to the shopping mall with my parents. Sneaked my way into the toy store to look at what packs they had for sale and my father allowed me to choose one, I picked LOB, because of the dragon obviously. As we walked to the next store, I opened my pack on the way and while slowly falling behind I kept admiring the cool cards I got. Eventually I got to the rare card, which was freaking Raigeki, I couldn't believe my eyes. This has been my favorite card for a very long time and I'm very fond of this memory. So most definitely LOB is the best box to open!

Pharoh's Servant is a personal favorite simply because of Jinzo. The amount of staples this set brought was definitely a game changer at the time. Never got a chance to have these packs as a kid, so as an adult I'm glad i have the chance to get a box now for a great price. Thanks Konami!

I bought 1 of each from the SU store and got some GREAT pulls! Got a secret rare Blue Eyes Toon Dragon, Ultra Rare Buster Blader, Relinquished, Black Luster Soldier, DARK MAGICIAN. Wasn't able to pull a Secret Rare Jinzo or Gate Guardian and REALLY wanted a UR Time Wizard. I'd definitely say the booster boxes I'm most excited for are Metal Raiders or Pharaoh's Servant for a chance at Secret Rare JIZNO or a cheeky Time Wizard/Summoned Skull/Gate Guardian! (and you know I'd have to keep a LOB sealed if I had to choose!) Hope I can win the Giveaway, much love SU! I would absoloutly LOVE to open some LOB packs once more! My first pack of Yu-Gi-Oh (EVER) was a 1st edition LOB pack from my local book store, which my mom got me, When I was 3 or 4 years Old, cause she remembered me watching the first episode premiring, recently, because we thought it was a show about ancient egypt, and after that, a new hobby was born😂 The funny thing is, after ALL the 100s of different packs I’ve opened since, I still remember each and every card I pulled in that one special first pack. Skull Red Bird Spike Seadra Machine Conversion Factory Terra The Terrible Sogan Ray & Temperature Dissolverock Petit Dragon And “Aqua Madoor” as my first Rare. It's always going to be Invasion of Chaos. It was the first set I got a very good card from. I only ever bought single packs from a small local shop, and I never got more than bad cards, until my first IOC pack, which contained the Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning. LOB is a classic, but it's just filled with bad cards, and when it was originally released here, Pot of Greed wasn't even a card in the set, that was put in Magic Ruler. Metal Raiders is a bit meh, but I did pull Barrel Dragon back in the day, which was an immediate upgrade for Dark Magician in my deck, as I never got the SDK. Spell Ruler (or rather Magic Ruler) is my 2nd favourite of these boxes. All the amazing spells and for personal reasons; Relinquished. Love that card. I don't really bought a lot of Pharaoh's Servant packs, so that one is probably the least nostalgic for me. So in order it would be: IOC, SRL (MRL), LOB, PSV, MRD. I still have no idea why the European LOB boxes were made smaller. We even had Flame Swordsman go from a super rare in LOB to a common in MRL. But yeah, it completely decreased the rank of LOB for me.

During a vacation she took alone, I asked my mother (RIP) if she could buy me a booster box of Yugioh, she managed to get me 2 boxes with 36 packs, 1 of Labyrinth of Nightmare and 1 of Pharaoh Sevant, I was VERY happy for that, I remember pulling out Jinzo from Pharaoh's Servant and wish to revive that moment again. I´m a old school collector, i just collect the cards from Yugi and Kaiba arc, I have some of them that I buy back in the begining of the 2000's, some from the Yugi, Kaiba, Joey and Pegasus starter's, but i have some misses in my collections that i love to collect some day, just like Five-Headed Dragon, Mystical Beast of Serket, Temple of the Kings B. Skull Dragon, Blue Eyes Toon, and much more... So I hope with this 25th anniversary konami release some old school special editions, like legendary decks, some og starters, and some duelist kingdom boxes. If that not happen I guess I will try to open some Metal Raiders boosters to see if i can get at least a B. Skull Dragon to join to my Red Eyes and Summoned Skull. I forgot Chaos Sorc was only a common in IOC. I suppose filling the graveyard took more investment back in the day and you'd rather use the light/dark for BLS or Chaos Emp, but a free removal on a beatstick was still good. I remember not being able to afford the other chaos dragons and using Sorc instead.

As an adult now, the nostalgia for Yugioh isn't quite as strong as my nostalgia is for Pokemon. I really wish the first Pokemon cards were reprinted. I feel like a reprint wouldn't really do a ton to the price of vintage cards. I'd still pay a premium for a 'Zard that was actually printed in the late 90s vs a reprint from 2023 (if it existed). I feel like Yugioh fans are generally pretty similar; a blue eyes actually printed in 2002 will probably just retain its value. That being said, I'll still probably buy a box of the LOB. It's as close as I'll get to opening something I did from when I was a kid at a reasonable price.

I know its kind of typical but LoB is where its at. It was my first booster pack as a kid and just thinking about the scent those cards had takes me back to simpler times. Now as a young adult Im missing those days more and more where me and my younger brother would sit down at home with our paper gaming fields that came with the Starter Decks (He had Yugi I had KAIBAAAAA) in the summer after getting home from being in the swimming pool (and of course watching the daily morning episode in Nickelodeon) and I can't help but feel SO nostalgic. I purchased the lob booster box last night and pulled a tri horn dragon, the blue eyes, a monster reborn, raigeki, dark hole, Polly, and trap hole. GODLY box!!!! Lob is 100% the set I'm most excited about! I would LOVE to get the lob dark magician and all the exoida pieces! I pulled the head from a legendary collection! I really hope I win this give away. It's really close between LOB and MRD. MRD has an amazing roster, but LOB is the first set, with blue eyes, DMG and exodia, and in terms of nostalgia, takes the cake.

What's the quality of the cards themselves like? Cheap and plastic-y like recent cards or thick and quality like the old cards? (Expecting the reprints are using the same cheap plastic cards of modern yugioh but hoping maybe they've reverted to the old quality cards).

Personally I'll always have a special love for Metal Raiders. Back when I was around 12, I just purchased a single pack of MR and I pulled Mirror Force out of nowhere! Even then it was a very valuable card and I wish I had keep it. It'd be really nice if I get the chance to experience that pull once again, fingers crossed 🤞🏻

I remember pulling the black luster soldier envoy of the beginning from locals since they would give you a booster pack and a slice of pizza for a few dollars. Unfortunately that card was stolen due using the card exchange and the guy never gave it back since I was a naive kid. I definitely want to open the invasion of chaos box for sure. Thankfully I got plenty of copies of that card once I got back into the game in 2016.

Second would be invasion of chaos because my first real competitive deck was a light dark deck with a lot of stuff from that booster! Lastly would be Legend of the blue eyes for ultimate pure nostaliga! Other two I'm not a fan of but I would go Metal raider fourth and magic ruler last.
