Call of the haunted goes into your spell trap zone. Golden apples only works once you’ve taken the damage, then you gain those life points back. This is pretty simple stuff if you’ve ever played Duel Links so quite surprised you overlooked these

Also forgot about the wasteland buff on zombies and if he played golden apples properly last game he probably would’ve won XD.

Literally doesnt matter that you lose the lp first unless you lose off of the damage

N Marbles he added the life points, he didn’t take then away, so he actually gained life points from golden apples and ended up with even more life points, it matters because that’s what the card says

I like the idea of Speed Duels. We can finally see old cards or weak cards being played. In normal Yugioh, all these cards get power-creeped by better cards and never see play. I'm glad Yugioh is getting more formats to play in.😆

Hell, they're using Dragon Zombie and Armored Zombie, and both are legit good in Speed Duels in specific decks. Its so weird seeing cards that were never good or even mediocre getting used prolifically. Its why I love the format.

i hate speed duel. i just wish they'd un-power creep it. a really simple idea is a ban list that's tailored to balance the game not to up the meta.

what i like about speed duels is how easy it is to keep overview of the meta right now. i kept trying to get into the main format since yugioh zexal after dropping off with gx, but never quite caught up with it

Golden apples was used wrong in the first duel. You lose the damage then you gain it back so it’s like nothing happened. I only know because of Duel Links.

The player of Call of the Haunted is supposed to start the game with one less card. Seeing as they both started with all 4 cards, I assumed it was one of the other Bonz skills until you flipped it over and revealed that you had drawn an extra card at the beginning. :/

Everyone keeps saying COTH goes in the spell/trap zones but I read skill cards have no specified zones, speed duels have a different format, maybe that is why.

I know this is a bit of a stretch. However, I’m trying to sell a smaller collection of singles, synchros,fusions, xyz’s, basically everything before Link Monsters. I would like to get rid of them because I’m no longer into collecting and would like to sell them.
