simpson chubby 3 best vs chubby 2 super

Greetings from New York City-----Last month I treated myself to a Chubby 2 Super/Silver brush---It was one of those milestone birthdays that come around every 5 years (Don't ask the age----If you really want to know, snap off a limb and count the rings), but I digress------This brush is worth the money-------As soft and dense as a boxing glove, maybe smoother------Works like magic------Go ahead, guys, get it-----You're worth it.

I received my Chubby 2 super badger two days ago. Yes, it's well worth the money. People who say it's too expensive haven't used one. I have a couple of quality Taylors and Trumpers brushes that I thought may be as good as the Chubby but NO WAY!! I already had the Simpsons X2L which is best badger. The Chubby 2 synthetic is a great brush also.....very close to badger with loads of backbone but very soft tips. Happy shaving sir and stay safe. Dave.

Hi, I'm torn between the simpson super chubby1 and the muhle silvertip badger, do you know which one is softer?

Simpson says to use the brush as a paint brush with to and fro motions. Circular motions destroy the brush.

They say that in order so exclude things from the warranty. I haven't managed to destroy a Simpson brush in years and have always used circular motions as well as paint brush motions.

My Chubby 2 Super is on the way. I cannot wait! Right now, my top brushes are the Thatcher, Frank Shaves, and a WCS Stone Torch. All silvertip. I love them. On the other hand, I know the Simpsons will probably be in a league of its own.

I have a Chubby 1 in Super and it's my best performing natural hair brush by far. I want a Chubby 2 Manchurian at some point, also, but it's quite a price tag.

The Chubby manual says not to go in circles but only like a paint brush back and forth. Going in circles in not good for the brush

Last week i bought chubby 2 in super. First and second shave it lost 5-10 hairs each time. 48 hours between shaves so brush was dry. Is it normal or is it shedding problem? Thank you
