A great clip, the way you ended up playing the desert is the best way , forget the schedule , just go with what feels right , great to see you spending a bit of time to make sure the kids do know were they are and were they have been , well done !

Don't take the short way from Mt dare to Dalhousie it's a bad gibber road head down to Bloods creek more of a sandy track in.

Nice video, would recommend letting tyres down further though, high 20 is still a bit high my default Offroad pressure for this kind of terrain is 15PSI went down to 8 on Big Red. Saves your truck and tyres
@mikeykeyes7 жыл бұрын
really? tyres popping off the bid would be a lot worse than carrying up on a little momentum. 8psi on modern radial tyres is equal to running on flat tyres. Rear diff locks with lower pressure should be the best combo.
@AlloffroadAu7 жыл бұрын
correct tyre pressure needs to be adjusted according to tyre size and vehicle, however between 15-18 PSI is no issue in the sand for most vehicles.In regards to popping a tyre of the bead if you drive according to the pressure you run there is little reason to fear popping a bead.

yeah, what happens if a guy like Ivan Milat and co turns up at night with rifles and blinding torch light? Unless travelling in a convoy of at least 3 vehicles I reckon pretty hairy at night! I mean doesn't take long for a Wolf Creek guy to show up

Let the modern type children get out &get some dirt on there toes also in car movies ect. in desert areas wont teach children these conditions.(scared to camp out in night &night driving one cant enjoy the reason why you travel there.
