Pressure was awesome. That’s what we need to win games. Hunt, jones, Kelly played amazing. Noah long so good. Waterman 4 goals.

Long good pressure, but not so many disposals. Was Kelly on ball or more up forward. Hunt looked sharp closer to goals. That may be smarter than half back where we have an abundance. Was Petrovski Seton better? He has been poor, so we want improvement.

Noah long set up a couple goals as well. Kelly was on ball. Hunt needs to stay on the wing, he is so good there. Petrevski-Seton played good as well.

@@FlagEagles I saw Long's tackles and knowing where to run to. Hunt better on wing or half forward. Good that P-S improved. He's been disappointing at Eagles so far. But I heard he had a very good preseason. Ginbey is unbelievably mature for a player. If Hewitt comes on, then we've done very well out of that first draft pick that we traded. Chesser still low on possessions. Its still good to put some game time into him before WAFL starts, then he may spend time there. Sooner or later, Clarky, Westy and Culley will be in.

@@masoprid3 Hewitt is too. Who else am I impressed with? Bazzo, H Edwards, Hough, Culley, Allen... Some its too early. But they need to move some veteran defenders like Digger Duggan or Tommy Cole up the ground at times, so there is the space to give games to Bazzo, Edwards, Hough plus more... they need experience.

Great to have a win, 100% correct you can't win a game without having the ball. Skills are a not negotiable, keep up the improvement. Dockers will be hungry, we just have to want it more n be hungrier 💙💛🦅

Good pressure, but still some sloppy mistakes at time. I reckon Jones should be down back as that is where he plays his best footy. If you need to move some mids into the forward line then so be it. As the year goes on it would be good for some of our young defenders to have a chance, as they need game time. If Digger Duggan needs midfield time then move their bodies into the action. Always good idea as defenders can get very defensive and stale over time. Many guys like a bit of variety and end up being better defenders when they go back anyway. I'd like to see Bazzo, Edwards and co get some defensive time too as they are the next generation of defenders.

@@iheartbleach6145 He just played in the last scratch match last week with the WAFL team. But I think the Eagles need to make space for youngsters to learn their craft down back as well. Otherwise they've an all star defence that will all retire at the same time. Plus our midfield needs help, so I'm keen for some of the defenders to move up and create strength and presence in the midfield.

Well done Eagles. A better 4Q effort not surprisingly results in a better outcome.....:) Still didn't quite play a full 4Q's, but a much more consistent effort across the game & critically contested ball much improved. The youth are invigorating the side. Kelly strong Q1, needs to work harder longer and not go missing....good signs. Waterman, Ryan, Shuey, SPS, Long, Ginbey impressed. Hunt was brilliant and showed his superior fitness at the games end. JJ electrifying with his drive & play making. Kudos to Darling for effort. Good to see Duggo go full Bulldozer mode. Williams trying, need to persist. Gaff, Cole and Chesser need to be dropped. Culley, Hough & Yeo all belong in this team. Barrass poor, which isn't like Tom.
