According to the website Festival Of Antiques, the term “vintage” refers to an item that’s at least 50 years old but less than 100, since anything above that would be widely considered as an antique. For some historical context, the Magnavox Odyssey, the original arcade release of Pong, Doctor Who’s Jon Pertwee (Third Doctor) years, The Partridge Family, A Clockwork Orange, Dirty Harry, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Joker’s Five-Way Revenge (Batman #251), Must There Be A Superman? (Superman #247), The Punisher, Wolverine and Giant-Sized X-Men #1 will all turn at least 50 years old by 2025.

I was the Leave-It-To-Beaverest dork on the playground; he read me the riot act when my teachers took a picture of me wearing my hat backwards on a camping trip. Don't be so quick to diss Santa for carrying vacuums. As a young child, my brother LOVED vacuums. He even had a stick out in the backyard he called his vacuum. He'd run around making vacuum sounds until he passed out because he spent so much energy he'd drop. And that was on quiet days. My preschool had giant beads. I never really used them. I'd grab every single beanie baby in the building, then hide in the corner cupboard in the school's play kitchen. Good times. My dad has a lot of those mini-pinball style things. My brothers and I got a lot of use out of those things. Seeing this, it makes even less sense that a lot of the ultra-conservatives in America have this weird 50s fetish. No, I'm not exaggerating. Reel-to-reel tape recorders: Now you too can launch annoying rocket-missiles! Destroy the center (but not the suburbs) of any major city with a nuke to take over that city's country!
