The third party grips Barry was referring to are made by me at Pineapple Grips in the UK (Fanatec and SRM). @Sim Racing Garage Is there a way I can email you some pictures I want to pick your brain on the TGT2. I bought it cheap with claims it didn’t work, but it turns out the turbo power supply was bad. I took the one from my tsxw and used on the tgt2 and it works perfectly. But from trouble shooting I noticed some visible frayed wire inside the vent on the top right where you can see the motor. It’s only a little, it looks spliced into the main wire to the motor, almost like it just didn’t get all the way into the harness. I took pictures and wanted to share it with you. I did open it up (using your tgt video as a guide) and wrapped the visible wire with electric tape, and everything seems to work great. I just want to be sure what was going on with that wire

I think the wireless / bluetooth daughter pcb on the main pcb is for the mobile Moza control app.

Does anyone know with the wireless wheel connected, what does it show on the PC . Does it show just the base or does it show the wheel and base separate ?

I have a question for the experts. I would gladly replace the wheel base with a DD wheel base and the steering wheel too. When it comes to pedals, I currently have a Thrustmaster T-LCM model. These are pedals with a load cell based brake pedal. They're great for me right now. They can be connected as a standalone unit to a PC via a USB port, without the Thrustmaster base. Would this make it possible to use the MOZA R9 V2 DD base and the MOZA steering wheel with these pedals? Will such a combo work / be seen in games like Assetto Corsa, ACC, Automobilista 2, Project Cars 2, or the upcoming Forza Motorsport 8???

Yes, without any issues. I use R9 V2 with T-LCM pedals.

the wheelbase now looks like a Fanatec product because everyone hated the orange rich guy lambo ricer look but now it looks like a Fanatec product lol

So Barry, you mentioned that one wheel base was able to deliver all the detail you want with no knotchiness - but you didn't say which one that was.

The GS wheel quick release connector looks like same as Simagic, does it mean it can work also on simagic wheel base?
@mArvAlcao712 жыл бұрын
yes and no. Yes means you can fit the wheel, no means you cannot use the buttons

@@luked1964 I'm from Australia. Took about 2 and a half weeks. I think moza have some kind of direct U.S distributor so it might be faster if you were able to order local. I had to order mine straight from Hong kong

@@alec7568 thank you very much for responding. I think mine is coming from that side of the globe as well because shipping was like $130usd for the base,wheel and adapter plate. I’m pretty excited though. I’ve been using a Thrustmaster TMX for the better part of 4-5 years and it’s been a great cheap wheel. Looking forward to DD. Cheers

I can´t believe such a master reviewer that is always taking everything till the smallest detail is using iRacing to check how the ffb is. There is no a proper review without testing the base with ACC, AC or rFactor 2. Especially the first simulator.
