The fact that you spent over FIVE hours just to recover the build and then built it all over again! Now that is true dedication and loads of patience, as usual. I've also tried placing down something from the gallery and there was an infinite loading screen.... Sims team has got to work on this problem; most people can't finish builds etc. in one sitting!

No way! Is that the problem? I've had an issue recently in Cas mode when I'd save sims to my library, they wouldn't show up there, and these sims had one cc piece - headphones! Also experienced an infinite loading screen when trying to place a lot from the gallery....

Sorry to hear you're having the corruption troubles. One advantage of a redo though is that you can do it better the second time. I can't help but wonder how much greater this would be with a 100x100 lot, with a full castle and large village. Your exteriors are always top notch and you should definitely do more castle inspired builds. How about unleashing your dark side with an Evil Queen Emerald castle? Or build an old castle then fully modernise it in every way?

you may just have been having build lag. It's been happening a lot more since For Rent. Things just get slower and slower the longer you're building something. I'll get that on one build, then when I do a new build it starts fine and gets slower and slower over time, again. But there could be other corruption going on in the background, too.

Maybe it was build lag, and I've experienced a little with residential rental lot types, but that rarely happened. Also, I think it might be corruption because I was trying to place down a park from the gallery and there was an infinite loading screen... And the last patch didn't fix any of those bugs...

Okay this convinced me that I need to buy the set 😂 I would love to see more castle builds by you as there are plenty of castles in Germany you could rebuild if you like. The front of this build with the water, the gate and the round towers reminds me of the castle that’s near my home town, Schloß Neuhaus or the Wewelsburg with its triangle shape ❤

Another amazing build! I'd be tempted to download it, but I don't have all the packs. (Of the ones I remember... I don't have Horse Ranch, Werewolves, & High School Years) I was getting that error the other day. I was trying to build a castle and on the 3rd level of the towers it just won't let me put another level. It wasn't frozen and I could go to menus... I just couldn't place anything on the lot. I tried to do roofs... I didn't think it was too high, but in case, I put one on the ground and it just vanished. I just couldn't place anything. As usual, I went to save & exit... and it froze on the save. After 10 minutes I used the Task Manager to end task. It didn't save at all and I lost the test sim family I had made and placed on the lot and all the work on the castle. Annoying glitch. I hope they fix it soon. [I don't have For Rent... so I guess it's not directly connected to that pack]. I started the castle again the next day and remembered to save as I went along. I didn't get the same error, but it froze again when I went to Save & Exit, but I had just saved before, so hopefully I didn't lose anyone. I haven't had a chance to go back into it. I've always used Save & Exit and never had a problem with it before last week. I try to save often. I hope that save isn't broken now... I have several other sims & homes in it... several of the shell challenges were done in that save... I don't know how to back up my save files. 😅

im having a weird bug where my sims who own the residential rental lot will disappear when i play another household on the lot. they get completely deleted out of the save file and panya(dont remember but the npc landlord) will be the landlord again. super frustrating. it has happened multiple times and i dont even want to play anymore! i was trying to build a story line

The worst bug I've encountered so far has been infinite saving screen. Absolutely nothing u can do but cry over all the time u wasted cuz the game won't let u save and the only solution is to close it from task manager
