Simu was perfectly cast for the Shang-chi movie. I think he's an excellent actor but there is just no way he alone could carry that movie. Awkwardfina was out of place and had no chemistry with any other actor. The "sister" story line was terrible. Michelle Yeoh is fantastic, but phoned in her performance. The whole writing and directing and action were just so off in that film. I hope Simu gets an Amazon Prime or Netflix movie or series.
