Can you make video add to this geomtry a workpiece ?

really helpful, thanks!

Thanks again; I've already watched this video, but I haven't tried it by myself till today. I faced an error in solving study steps 1 and 2 which are coil geometry analysis and frequency domain, that says: "Failed to find a solution. The relative error (1.5e+03) is greater than the relative tolerance." I've done all steps that you described here, so I don't know the reason for this error. I would appreciate your help.
@JafScience3 жыл бұрын
I can't tell why this error appears. Maybe it's mesh-related. But if you follow all the steps exactly then it should work.

Thanks for the video. I followed the same video steps for mesh generation, but getting a problem in generating the swept mesh. Getting an error message: Problem in inverted elements. Any suggestion how to solve this problem?
@JafScience10 ай бұрын
In which component are you doing the swept mesh? Is it mapped or triangular? Can you try making it smaller?
@rabiulhasan244910 ай бұрын
@@JafScience It was mapped for the coil+ water.
@JafScience10 ай бұрын
Try triangular and smaller mesh on the face being swept.

Hello, thanks for all your efforts. I have learned a lot from you. Did you use FORM UNOIN in the geometry? When I use form union I cannot select coil boundary for convection in heat transfer. I would be glad if you could help me. Best wishes.
@JafScience2 жыл бұрын
Yes I used form union. You should deselect the air space in heat transfer physics if you want to select the boundary of the coil. Internal boundaries cannot be selected for heat flux in heat transfer.

I must say a wonderful explanation. I am trying to model a microwave heating of water flowing in polymer pipe, but unfortunately not getting accurate results. Is it possible if you can make a tutorial for a simplified domain for this. I believe it will be helpful for me and for others as well. Thanks.

Why do you use laminar flow instead of transient or turbulant flow, if the Reynolds Number is likely to be above 2300? Thanks.
@JafScience2 жыл бұрын
I did not consider the Reynolds number. As the simulation has 3 interfaces I tried to keep it simple. If you plot the flow speed and it turns out to be well within the turbulent regime you can modify the model. But for this application I don't think it'll noticeably affect the temperature of the coil.
@camlainguyen35452 жыл бұрын
@@JafScience How do you plot the flow speed seperately? And by the flow speed value, how do we calculate the Reynolds number? Thank you very much!
@JafScience2 жыл бұрын
@@camlainguyen3545 You can plot the flow speed at the exit cross-section by selecting the flow speed variable in the results. If you apply an 'average' operator that'll give you the average exit flow speed. The reynolds number is rho*V_avg*D/mu where D is internal tube diameter and mu is dynamic viscosity.

if a 1 ml test tube contains magnetic fluid (single domain superparamagnetic nano particles and water) placed in the middle of the coil. And these magnetic nano particles generates heat by induction (just with neel and brownian relaxations and excluding eddy currents and hysteresis effects) how can we show temperature increase for test tube with/without water cooling effect? thank you.
@JafScience3 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure I understood you well. Induction heating only works for conductive materials due to eddy currents. Without eddy currents no heat is generated so you cannot heat a mixture of particles/water by induction.

@@JafScience thank you for your kind response. Is it any way to superpose static and alternative magnetic fields in the work area?
@JafScience3 жыл бұрын
@@newmail3549 Depending on what you want to model, you could add a static and alternating source in a time-dependent study, or you could compute the static field in a stationary study and then feed it into a frequency or time domain study.

What is the heat source to change the temperature? Resistance is a function of material property and geometry. If you place a sensor in a heated environment and its temperature rises you can generate your plot.
