I'm gonna be 100% honest with you. This is a great level, but I feel like it is overshadowed by the first 2 levels in the series. I believe this is because of 3 reasons. 1. The boss is clunky. It's big and doesn't move fast, which fits the theme, but doesn't help the level. 2. You focused more on design than effects. The designs are great, but don't be too focused on them. There is a lot of empty space at times and some attacks went on for a while. 3. The stakes felt lower. It might be the chill attitude of the boss or what I said in reason 1, but it it didn't feel like this guy was better than the previous 2 bosses. That being said, I'm only telling you this so everything else you make will be better. You are so talented and I wish you luck.

I think the less aggressive attitude of the boss plays really well into the fact that they're not great at fighting themselves, and the effects and movements of the drone make it easier to see that there's something wrong with the drone, making for some very subtle foreshadowing. As for the designs, they're nice, but the main focus of it (that being Novum on the screen) is very simple, so it's easier to focus on other details, making good use of the simplicity. However, you make some good points in regards to the empty space and lengthy/repetitive attacks, and I'll probably keep what you said in mind myself since it's a kind of constructive criticism that applies to multiple cases. Apologies for responding to this comment a year after it was posted, I wanted to add some positivity ^^; Hope that's alright-!

It should be the square guy who attacked Parallel in the cutscene. If he it the next one, he'd most likely want to kill you so he can take the three keys you have and use them along with the key he has so he can take the treasure.
