Video explains variable and fixed step solver. It also explains how ti take inputs from excel sheet and access data in simulink. The video shows how outputs of system differ using different solvers.

Solution to problem 'undefined reference to t ...' . I will echo the solution provided by an earlier commenter 'Stip Kafle', when importing the excel sheet you will notice a drop down menu in the top left corner titled 'Output type', you must specify the type as column vectors. You will now see that t and u are imported as seperate variables into the workspace and are therefore defined.

External input specified in the Configuration Parameters dialog box on the Data Import/Export page (or as an option to SIM command) to a model containing no root level input ports what does this mean

Thank you for the video! Can you help me a little bit please? After I close Matlab along with Simulink, then reopening, Simulink cannot seem to find pre-defined variables (e.g. t; u). How can I relate them to each other? Thank you!
@simulinktutorial90867 жыл бұрын
+magyarikristof when you reopen the model, you need to import data manually as shown in the video. If you want to avoid that then add the load command for datasheet in callbacks. So every time you open the model the datasheet data is loaded in the workspace

you can write load command to load the data automatically.

csv import , mat file , or creation of vecctor in workspace.. as long as variable is visible in workspace it will be considered for simulation

Why input given needs to be column matrix ? Why not row matrix what is the reason behind?

Just as an exercise try to give it as a row matrix and simulate and check if it simulates

Dear Simulink Tutorial your videos are very step-by-step as one wants. I liked it and I learn a lot. But I noticed one thing in this video that brings me some confusion. And that is that in your initial time data in Excel file, you have written 0.4 twice. Why? I thought very much but in vain. Is it some typos or you intentionally kept it like that. And if you did it intentionally, then how will we know that where should we repeat this time data?

Ur statements are contradicting. Once u r telling that variable step will not respond to zero crossing and at the same time, u say that fixed step will not respond to zero crossing
