Excellent. She really sounds like she grew up in Los Angeles. But, of course the english sentences are arranged in a really foreign word order. I think this is because she is doing this on the spot. If she had more time to think about it I believe she would do much better. You can't be perfect when your on the spot like this. I give her an A+. (Some corrections)With the feeling of a young man. I am who I am because of baseball. So, I feel that I should give back to baseball.

The sentences are arranged that way because it is "simultaneous", normal English grammar has the subject and verb at the beginning of a sentence but you don't know what the verb is going to be until the end of a Japanese sentence. Plus, the way "because" is used in English and Japanese is completely opposite. Japanese puts the reason before the conclusion, English puts the conclusion before the reason. You'd have to hear the entire Japanese statement before you could create a grammatically correct English sentence; which makes it impossible for simultaneous interpretation
uni corn 駄目というか、男女が握手するときは女性から手を出すのが一般的なだけですよ。海外ではというかビジネスの世界では一般的な考え方ですね。かといって男性から握手を求めてもそこまで失礼にはあたらないですよ。kzbin.info/www/bejne/hYekfpVsgNqcbKM このURLのjob interviewの例でも男性から手を出していますし(まあこの場合は立場が上である雇用主の女性から手を差し出すのが一般的ですが)
