I’m on Thobeka’s side on this one. It’s a different story if they were just dating and she keeps the relationships after it has ended. In this case there is a child, it’s her child’s grandparents bandla. Out of respect for elders I would not treat them badly just because I am no longer with their son. The dynamics are different because of the child. These people will always be a part of their geandson and nephews life. Holidays, important school events and life events too. They need to be a part of all of them. Considering the son was fighting for his life and he may have lost his life, I think we should all agree that they want to treasure every moment and do it in peace. She hasn’t meddled in the marriage, she has and will forever have a relationship with the father’s family. If I was Pulane and the circumstances were different, I would build a relationship with Thobeka. But obviously for them it can not happen because of the merging timelines of their relationships.
