Yes. So many speaking as if she had no good times ever and received no love ever and that all she knew was suffering.

So sad she had postpartum depression and the doctors diagnosed her off social media bs. May she rest in peace. Her voice is like she once said a prayer.. it really is angelic and beautiful. She was so ahead of her time. She saw truth where it lay right there in your face, not where others try to make you believe. ❤

I love the fact that she tells you the truth and does not give a rat's ass what you think. She is unapologetic about it. I also find it sad that many "artists" of today never really talk about the things that matter and usually sing about "safe" topics such as drugs, sex and materialism. She is unique in a sense that she shies away from fame and all of its trappings and instead, focuses on her music and the message she is trying to get through to people.

Yeah they ("artists") have this great opportunity to talk about important things that could heal many people, but instead they speak about basically nothing which is a huge shame. Meanwhile REAL artists are dying out, but thankfully we still have Sinead and Bob Dylan around so yeah there are still real artists with real music, but not a lot...

She is so powerful. I think that's why she's had so much trouble. Its not always easy for women to carry off that type of power. So glad she has grown into it. She inspires all women to do the same.

+Amy Manley I'm seriously blown away. Something needs to be done to bring women like her into power....but she wouldn't want it....women so need this. She is in her feminine power already, she wouldn't want status...it's just that the rest of the world has to catch up on what that means for all of us. All of us need to claim our unique power> a power that loves the whole of creation: Buddhist Christian, call it what you will....along those lines....without the bullshit tho. Peace & Love. True :-)

Amy Manley not just powerful but also a gentle soul that cares for others so much and intelligent mind , and with how the world is being run by evil supremacist and what they're doing to maintain in control, that must take a toll on such a kind, smart person like her, I'm glad and happy for her that she now has embraced Islam, insha'aAllah it will nourish and strengthen her good character, she has a heart of gold 💛

I’m simply in love with this woman and I am so sad AND DISGUSTED with myself that I forgot about her for so many years. I loved her first two albums when they came out and then forgot about her until now. How sickening of me. I loved her then and I love her now and I am so sad she’s gone.

she was blessed with beauty and has tried as hard as possible to hide it so she could be taken seriously as an artist and not fit into any particular stereotype and i respect that. i hope one day as a woman that females will be taken seriously without the need to try.

The key for a woman to be taken seriously is for them to not take men so seriously. It works, too. It's been my experience that the more I do not give a shit about what people think, the more they seem to respect me. It's fucked up, but it works.

What Sinead said about the way people talk and treat those seen as mentally ill or crazy are then seen as invalidated and nothing they say has any credibility. The analogy she made of if someone had two broken legs then its like having to walk down the road as if you didn't. What she says about crazying people in order to silence them or censor them...this is so true. The crazy label is used all too often to silence inconvenient people and as she said she was suffering with the effects of trauma which I believe most people who get called crazy are. Just wish she was still here with us...

How haunting to hear Beloved Sinéad/Shuhada sing "I am Stretched on Your Grave", a Celtic lament from centuries ago! I'd only heard Brendan Perry from Dead Can Dance sing it before, but this gave me chills! May Allah (swt) nurture her as she deserves, she was a magnificent woman and so loyal to her convictions and the to the downtrodden. I love and miss her. May she be at peace after everything she gave, represented and suffered xXx

I just wanted to say hearing her interview regarding being mis diagnosed, I can remember when I had social services in my life after leaving my abusive ex, I told them the same as what she had told the doctor, the social services said that I had MH disorder, but weren't happy and willing to figure out that I had just left an abusive ex of 23 yrs and also for the first time in my life had social services involved of course I was gonna feel depressed and suicidal! This is what happens to the majority of the public! where the pill is the only thing a doctor is gonna give you.
