I love the fact that she tells you the truth and does not give a rat's ass what you think. She is unapologetic about it. I also find it sad that many "artists" of today never really talk about the things that matter and usually sing about "safe" topics such as drugs, sex and materialism. She is unique in a sense that she shies away from fame and all of its trappings and instead, focuses on her music and the message she is trying to get through to people.

What Sinead said about the way people talk and treat those seen as mentally ill or crazy are then seen as invalidated and nothing they say has any credibility.The analogy she made of if someone had two broken legs then its like having to walk down the road as if you didn't. What she says about crazying people in order to silence them or censor them...this is so true.The crazy label is used all too often to silence inconvenient people and as she said she was suffering with the effects of trauma which I believe most people who get called crazy are. Just wish she was still here with us...

How haunting to hear Beloved Sinéad/Shuhada sing "I am Stretched on Your Grave", a Celtic lament from centuries ago! I'd only heard Brendan Perry from Dead Can Dance sing it before, but this gave me chills! I just wanted to say hearing her interview regarding being mis diagnosed, I can remember when I had social services in my life after leaving my abusive ex, I told them the same as what she had told the doctor, the social services said that I had MH disorder, but weren't happy and willing to figure out that I had just left an abusive ex of 23 yrs and also for the first time in my life had social services involved of course I was gonna feel depressed and suicidal! This is what happens to the majority of the public! where the pill is the only thing a doctor is gonna give you.
