She was so honest, so real, never fake, never sold her soul to conform or people-please. That's a hard thing to do in today's world and particularly in the music industry being under so much pressure to be commercially 'successful' and make money for record labels and executives. I could listen to Sinéad talk all day. She is an inspiration. A true role model to anyone to 'be themselves'. Sadly I think she often struggled to accept herself deep down but I'm certain that was from the trauma of the mental, emotional and physical abuse she suffered growing up. Such an amazing woman. ❤

I have only just played this interview and as it opened, as they all do, with a focus on issues of mental health or on perceived bad behaviour, I was in some dread that Lorraine's approach was going to be the same and popsical because the audience might not want otherwise but this interview surprised me. Lorraine was great in such a short segment to bring out the best aspects of Sinead at that point in time. It was true and fair, in my opinion, and reinforced the positive aspects of Sinead.

I agree . I’ve been watching a few Sinead interviews recently- and I think this one plus Wogan from 1990 show great respect to Sinead . I think other interviewers show themselves to be total idiots by comparison. Sinead - absolutely true to herself.what a role model to women
