I did this film in my living room with my brother. We used a quick pop-out green screen. To light it we had 3 lights and one reflector. The rest of the scene was done in Adobe Premiere and After effects. For final color grading I used my Famous Movies LUTs.
Here is the gear I used:
Boltzen lights amzn.to/2rSz9ZL
Green screen amzn.to/2qk38J6
Reflector amzn.to/2rjzvM4
Camera amzn.to/2rBTxkP

Beautiful cinematography 🎥🔥💯 I’m definitely going to try this.. but I can’t draw so I would probably put a png of a tree 🌲 in the background and use the fill effect like you did to make it white.. or trees blowing in the wind green screen video if I want a moving background and put the fill effect on it🔥🔥🔥💯 great video ... this could work in so many different ways

Hey Tom, I have a few questions regarding dynamic range and would be rly happy if you could answer them. Do I get extra stops in dynamic range for grading in post, if I record footage in HDR mode (Ninja Inferno)? Does the client in the end get a benefit from it, or do they need extra monitors and tv able to display footage in HDR mode? Will the upcoming 400Mbps codec for the GH5 provide more dynamic range in post? Does more bitrate also mean more detail in blacks and whites? I wonder if it is worth to get the Ninja Inferno since the upcoming firmware update for the GH5 which will allow you to shoot 4k 60p 422 with a 400 Mbps codec internal. Of course the external recording is a nice feature along with the monitor. Maybe you can do a video about that, if there are more people out there clueless as me. Cheers!

It is great for learning film making technique with your videos. Can you share information from exporting finished project from AE to Premiere without loosing quality keeping process as smooth as possible? Thanks.

Another question: Which profile you would recommend on the GH 5 for green screen and which settings are the best for it. With VLog I mess it up, the profile is to flat for keying .

buying the lut in a few weeks. Thanks Tom for another stellar upload! Now that you have a new office ;) Look into doing a mailing list with Mailchimp or Getresponse. Some of us only have money sporadically, so a reminder of whats on sale every 1 or 2 weeks via email would be great!

Hi Tom, Great Tutorial, I´m going to try to recreate the Scene in the next days. Ive bought the luts Pack. They are awsome. But I have an issue with the gh 5. When I Import the Vlt. files on my sd Card on my GH 5 I can´t see all of the LUTs in the Vlog view assist, when i go to read lut file, The 300, AME, BHD, COG , COM, DEH,..luts are missing. Is there a Limitation of Lutfiles in the gh5?
@LukaszAntos
@LukaszAntos 7 жыл бұрын
ulitosarts yes, GH5 only allows 4 LUTs at a time. Maybe they will increase it with a firmware update.
