Thats great. I have been online buying stuff and got two sinamay blocked (pillbox shaped things? I am using one for a pillbox and one for something else as I bought a couple of sheets of sinamay too...maybe a brimmed hat of some description. I bought sheets so I have some to play with for decoration. I got some petersham ribbon in green as I think I will keep the pillbox fairly simple in black and have green accents. I am really excited to get my hands on the stuff. I also got some placemats to play with and a hat, thats a hood, straw kinda from Petershams, it just looked interesting and was in the sale...it has an interesting texture..we will see...if I make anything worthy of posting I will give you a shout on Instagram and tag you for inspiration and tutorial ...if it wasnt for you and Kate on Why Not a Hat, I wouldnt know where to start. Of course I have to also credit Angela Clayton for passing on the bug and Illona for the Jackie Kennedy vibes!

Should my sinamsy bias strip become a bit shorter when trimming the edge of a hat, can i press with a steam iron and stretch? Will that work for me maybe? 😬 🤷‍♀️ 🙈😃😃

You can press and stretch, BUT bear in mind it will become narrower :)
