제임스맥코넬 목사는 1945년 북아일랜드 벨파스트에서 태어났습니다.
James McConnell was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, in 1945.
그는 1972년 웨일스 칼빈대학에서 신학을 전공하고,
He studied theology at Wales Calvin College in 1972
1973년부터 2023년까지 Whitewell Metropolitan Tabernacle Belfast교회의 목회자로 섬겼습니다.
and served as pastor of Whitewell Metropolitan Tabernacle Church in Belfast from 1973 to 2023.
맥코넬 목사는 2014년 설교에서
In a 2014 sermon, McConnell said.
"이슬람은 사탄적이며, 악마의 씨앗“과

that Islam is "satanic" and "the seed of the devil."

He was charged by prosecutors.

McConnell said, "The police are trying to silence me and
stop me from preaching."

have never hated anyone, including Muslims.

I simply disagree with what Muslims believe.

Muslims have the right to say what they believe,

He was acquitted of the charges.
맥코넬 목사는 2023년 1월 20일, 78세의 나이로 세상을 떠났습니다.
McConnell died on January 20, 2023, at the age of 78.

His funeral was attended by thousands of mourners.
