I consider Dr. Sproul to be the lion of Calvinism. It was due to his clear teaching of TULIP and its biblical proof texts that led me to embrace those 5 Points.

I totally agree. Dr. Sproul likewise had a huge impact on my life. Tragically he didn't seem to have a lasting impact on his reprobate son. It's fortunate for Dr. Sproul's sake that RC Jr didn't abandon the Reformed faith until after his father's passing. At 27:02, Dr. Ferguson is expounding beautifully why those of us who have been raised in the hymnals know ( and I treasure) all the verses, and a single verse on a screen does not necessarily fulfill my joy of worship in song. I absolutely and most definitely love these men of God on this panel, they only need to add Johnny Mac as R.C. calls him, and in my opinion you can throw everything and the kitchen sink at them and they would be able to answer id say pretty much every question with a biblical Scripture or Scriptures that you know is truth!

This morning, prior to finding this podcast, my husband and I had a headed discussion about the question of " Can you be a Christian and not reading scripture?". My husband, who was never baptized, has been coming to a Bible believing church with me have never read the Bible. I would point out something to him relating all the insanity America is seen now as biblical. He doesn't believe me and asked me to show him where it is in the Bible. ? I take its plasphemy to question the Bible without reading it. Am I wrong?
