This song sings about the sadness of her failed love and the loneliness after that, but the melody makes it clearer that she is really trying to overcome that sadness and loneliness.... I think that may be one of the reason why I love this song so much. By the way, it's impossible that it was released in the late 1990's! I will keep on listening to this song forever even if I become older!!

I got into Eurobeat around 2004 when I was in high school. Surprisingly not through Initial D, but through rhythm games (mainly Konami's Bemani series). I discovered this song randomly but it was only a short version. Now I'm pleased that there are official uploads of my favorite eurobeat songs from back then, including the full version of this song.

It sounds like the stage of mourning one experiences after the death of a loved one, but with the glimmer of hope from the world beyond which they have ascended into, where they will soon be reunited. Truly a moving song if you really listen to it. Just like that story, this song's telling me to open my wings and fly, so I can be free.
