I never liked Evil Sindel defeating most good guys, and I’ve been having that issue since MK9. MK11 Sindel is such an overkill, but didn’t lessen my enjoyment of MK11’s awesome story. MK1 Sindel is the version I favor the most, and I love the fact that she’s the mother of both Kitana and Mileena, even being able to defeat Shao, allied with Liu Kang, and interacts with Jerrod/Ermac.

MK11 Sindel looked the best out of all them, but MK1's characterization was the best blending of both her benevolent and ruthless nature and she is also a good representation of the femininity as a whole (which I believe Sindel represents). As it can be very tender and caring but also vicious and cunning. I feel like in MK1 her looks and her overall gameplay hold her back. The face model for MK1 Sindel (Dari Dorj) looks beautiful but they kinda messed it up in the actual game but imo a better option would be to have Gong Li as Sindel's face. She also has a lack of numerous banshee and hair moves which I think MK11 Sindel got right. Also, her Kwan Dao fits her perfectly and I hope they just commit to giving her that weapon all the time instead of being wishy-washy about it. She is my favourite character of all time and I love her to death. LONG LIVE EMPRESS SINDEL!!!

Of course she is not good person. After she killed the most good guys in single battle and becoming revenants she didn’t learn her lesson yet. Now she is doing the same thing she did back in mk 9. I say her mk 11 version of Sindel is much worse than mk 9 version of Sindel. I hope she changes in mk 1 ( 2023 ) which is Liukang’s timeline.

As a 42-year-old, I've seen this cycle repeat many times: the current generation chuckles at the graphical primitiveness of the last. In my first "height" of gaming (late '90s) I marvelled at how superior the new polygonal look was to the old sprites. Then in my second "height" (early '10s) I was stunned at how real the current stuff was compared to what I enjoyed as a teen. My gaming is peripheral at best nowadays, but again I find myself noticing how cartoony the 2010-2012 graphics are compared to today. Heck, even _MKX_ looks almost comical compared to _11_ . That said... I don't like this current trend of giving most characters (even the women) acne. That's a step in realism _too_ far.

This is my perspective, I like the characters to be real and close to be human but the only problem being they change these characters face model all the time. To me, I liked MK11 characters face model than anyone but MK1 changed it. Initially, I felt bad about it but I think I'm getting habituated to it But really glad, that you penned down your thoughts.
