@@Sindrener yea primal stomp probably my favorite. most of your primal videos are just really great, because they show duels vs competent people and outnumbered fights vs the 'not as competent'. I actually modeled the single video I made off of your primal videos, back when I used to play thief competitively. I made top 50 in season 5 NA when they introduced the leaderboards for the first time, but stopped playing once I realized anet wasn't going to revive esl and cash tournies. So it's nice to come watch videos from back in the day from really great players that I used to study! A lot of nostalgia.

sindrener in wvw, that is hype! no need to mention that you are an incredible good thief again and again, but you are ;) Even though you played rly careful and patient most of the time it is very exciting to watch. i think that is what most player (not only thiefs, and that include myself muha) just dont do and loose fight they dont need to because of it. Also once more im reminded of the big angz 1vs1 server times, where you could meet a lot of pro player. Even though the server was very full most of the time, so i couldnt join more than 1-2 times in an hour but already watching all the different match ups and good plays was a hell of a fun and helped to improve the own skill lvl. i rly miss this and im glad too see that pro players find a bit more back into the community outside of esl. pls keep this up!

btw you prob know it but since you didnt use it here (and so other, who maybe dont know, can catch it up) let me ask: you know that you can stow the shadow shot after the blindshot/shadowstep to avoid the dmg what trigger the block on mesmer shield, so mesmer dont get the second block/phant no matter if he remove the blind to summon the first phant?

Jazz X man yes i know i can stow shadow shot i do it plenty in the video overall. Its not efficient to do it unless the mesmer has already started the s#4cus easy shatter cleanses the blind. If he started to cast it then u can blind. Its more efficient to dodge however

yes sure only use when mesmer started the block already ;), but i mean i just saw you using shadow shot for blind during the block but mesmer got the block, so he removed the blind with shatter to summon the first phant. what is no problem since he needed to use a shatter to clear the blind and get the first phant out. if you only dodge the phantspawn he dont need to "waste" a shatter to clear the blind. all fine until now. but since you also hitted the mesmer duing the block with the second part of shadow shot and autoattack he also get a second block. the second block you could have avoided by stow shadow shot after the teleport, no matter if the mesmer remove the blind with a shatter during the block or not.

Ya you can see later in duels i dodge instead, and I have other duels where i do it:) I can't really tell why I attacked this time, I had been dueling for 4hours straight there against various people so I tend to get exhausted lol. Think I was there 22-02 or even 03

ahaha yes i know this, its rly exhausting to be concentrated for a long time. and i see the amount of spectator standing on the left side, it was clear you had to duel a lot of ppl a lot of times ;) it is also no complain or something i was sure you know it but i was considering why you didnt stow after the blind to avoid the blocktrigger and i thought to talk about this maybe give ppl the information if they dont know it already :)

I don't think invo has a chance whatsoever If i am focused/play as if im 100% in the "zone" so to say, but retri is different, I was dueling Fraelina in OS and I mean he is incredible, sure I might not die cus I can reset but it's insane how much he pressures me/jukes my steals on another level sadly we only did like 3-4 duels then GvG happened.

He's not bad, but he's not good either. Cake = good video makers, that's it. I have seen vans duel several good people from my server, lose 10 times, win 1 time, include win in video. Then go to a video where someone posted a win over a Cake member and flame about not including their losses. If they were good, you'd notice them in pvp.

havardmj Yeah that's def something I would never do. If I put something in my videos it is going to be someone who I either had some really fun back and forth fights with, or I had the upper hand on in most of our fights. I always look to have fights where we traded wins, but if someone beats me 10 times Im not going to include that 1 win in a video. I will make one admission though, I fought a trap hammer DH once whose build was just a total nightmare to deal with, he beat me 3 times and I won once, and I included that fight because it felt like I climbed a mountain to win, lol. But yea that was the only time I did something remotely like that.

Hey Sind, I know I'm late to the party on an old video, but I couldn't help but notice you use the same build in WvW as you do in PvP, including the same Utility skills. I'm curious, do you just prefer the build? Or is it just for consistency? How does it compare to a Bounding Dodger build such as Terissimo's? How about in 1vX situations? I'm already subbed, but as usual, nice content :)

Any build without gapclosers is also just patience and control - similar fighting staff so I don't really have issues against it but I don't fight any builds like that very often. And I never played any condi build on thief no

Sick gameplay lad! I also have a question for roaming, i main mesmer but i am also interessted in thief roaming and ranger. However do you need full ascended to stand a chance or is it not needed? I ask this since it would be hard to farm ascended for every single alt, or atleast takes lots of time. Thanks in advance and again amazing video!

Playing a Thief there is no reason to ever lose a 1v1 ever. Period. The class can engage and disengage at will. Best solo roaming class and 1v1 class.

Why do EU teefs stow weapons so much? NA teefs are doing it now too only they stow and let you attack before they do anything again. I mean... It's a free bag for me so, thanks? lol! Awesome video!

I guess many thieves overall seen me do it and started doing it themselves. For me the reasons are: habbit against thieves who spam #4 so i dont autoattack. Also so i dont get stuck in animation so i can headshot, example is if i start autoattack chain and he starts casting something that has short cast the chain needs to be completed before i can headshot. Also its just APM spam to keep me warm as well :)

Ladies relax, sure he won 1-2 duels after hours of dueling It was nice I sadly stopped recording after 1h~ cus my drive got full. I know myself and I have a hard time staying focused for hours especially as you say a winning matchup (invo) cus he insists on playing it, I tend to start to fuck around but thats my own fault :) and I wouldn't necessarily say that retri is a loosing matchup either, Frae/Baenz on retri is much more superior but that might also be cus they play it a lot more. It's just they are incredible at baiting out the steal which is needed to win. You guys care too much about losing/winning, see it as you learn something, not everyone plays the same. I learned a lot against this rev due to the fact he runs axe offhand instead of shield, it require adaptation which I love.

This sounds incredibly nit-picky and minor but it's AMAZING you are winning outnumbered fights without food. Typically, players who make these videos/take these outnumbered fights are better geared and fooded than their opponents. No food just shows how much more 'outplayed' your opponents were.
