sine wave gun breakdown

yes im back (sorta), im going to make more production tutorials soon i swear!!
a small breakdown on how to make a sine wave gun. im just explaining the effects and what it does to make this sound like a gun and not just some sine wave with a pitch envelope
also what i mean by decay in the video is the pitch envelope srry lol

-phaseplant or any other synth that has a sine wave oscillator
-multipass
-ott
-gclip

I have a question on the second convolver. Is it like a very short dispersed whitenoise to create the illusion of phase dispersion?

Pretty much! It also adds a nice ‘metallic’ sort of texture depending on the impulse you use in the ‘Phase’ category and how you change the feedback. ‘Disperse 80ms’ is a good example of this, if you add two with different feedback amounts at around 50-75% roughly, it should sound metallic
