The reason I love hearing about prices sometimes is it brings that world even closer to me. When we see celebrities living large and talking about Dubai trips and dollars, we feel like the dream is so distant. But a celebrity who can say "this trip cost such and such" or "this bag was this much", helps us see that actually, I can dream in this direction, and gives a clearer picture of what success can look like, without it seeming unattainable. Please mention the prices, it helps demystify things that have been kept hidden and out of sight by those previously advantaged. If they cringed oops but honestly I didnt feel like you were showing off or anything. The same way you share your income (even though we know it's an approximation) for the sake of transparency and helping out the next person by providing real tangible figures is soo helpful. This hiding of things and gatekeeping is what keeps us back as a people.
