This line up is legendary! Alexi, Roope and Marko. It's sad that none of them is performing anymore... Alexi's passing was absolutely heartbreaking and still to this day I find it hard to believe that he's gone for good. Marko's announcement of retirement came 2 weeks after what had happened to Alexi which was the second shock in raw, someone whom I thought was an inseparable part of Nightwish, although it looks like that he has plans to perform again which is a bit heartwarming. Roope's last interview was sad though, seeing him in that state struggling with alcohol and depression really made me sad. He was the best guitarist of Finland at one point an inspiration for many including Alexi himself. He needs help and I'm afraid his friends don't help him we will lose him as well. It seems that he's forgotten what a legend he is. As for Kimberly, I think she was a talented person and had good songwriting skills. The ability to gather all these big names in this band itself shows that she was smart and had very good social skills. One can also see that from the interactions she has with fans. Her dispute with Laiho's family following Alexi's passing and unpleasant events that took place kind of made me sad although I do not judge her or anyone from the other side about a personal matter. Both sides have their own narratives and had legal rights to do whatever they did but happy that the dispute's finally over. She says she has plans to do something with Roope. Let's hope she comes back.

@@ShadowZero1980 Long story but I'll make it as brief as possible. Following Alexi's passing, strange things happened between Kimberly and Alexi's family. Kimberly on paper was still Alexi's legal wife and they were never officially divorced. She flew to Helsinki to take part in Alexi's funeral and of course as his legal widow claim what she was going to receive from him. That was when things turned ugly. Laiho's family apparently hated her and didn't want her to be anywhere near them or take part in the funeral and went ahead with his cremation but once Kimberly found out that they were proceeding with the funeral without her, she asked her lawyers to step in and stop the funeral. As his legal widow she had the power to do so. As a result, proceedings stopped and Alexi's ashes were not given to Laiho's family and stayed in crematorium for almost a year during which period both sides accused each other of wrongdoings specially when Kim revealed Alexi's cause of death which was against Laiho family's wishes as they said Alexi would never want that. Anyway, things finally got settled in early December 2021 and Alexi's ashes were finally laid to rest in Helsinki's Malmi cemetery.

@ShatterTheSkiesAbove3 жыл бұрын
@@noodlehair6566 Lol no man I really don’t have any solid explanation or proof other than just my own opinion which really is just my own. I’ve just been listening to their music forever now and the vibes I’ve gotten from her is that she was somewhat of a shitty person. And obviously regarding the guitars, according to her own words, they were stolen from a house that they shared with other bands for practice during a party. Imagine walking out of a metal party with a guitar though and nobody seeing it 😂 I’m not suggesting or implying anything and I actually don’t have an option on it because it really doesn’t matter. They separated and obviously there was a good reason.
