I'm a Sri Lankan and I binged watched this series! It was so well put together and so so inspirational. Also it was so refreshing to see even small aspects of Sri Lanka portrayed so well and accurately. From the simple and appropriate everyday clothes to how the Kandy Lake was shown in closing of the scene of Nethmi's hometown. These were small yet fine details that was executed so well which made it very real and respectful. Heartfelt thank you from someone who abhors the absolute bastardisation done in the portrayal of Sri Lanka in main stream Bollywood. (Raam Sethu the best example). It was wonderful to see the showcasing of ancient history such as Ghandara and Takshila. Pakistani TV series are a league of it's own! Fantastic work!

The story has everything; Ramsha Khan’s father is an adorable father and their bond is worth watching. Yumna Zaidi and her sister’s bond is hilarious. Sajal Aly and his brother Usman Mukhtar and their perspective about life and how they support each other is a must-watch for everyone. Kubra Khan’s attitude towards her life and how she seems normal but deep down we all know her parents’ quarrels do affect her. Though I'm obsessed with Yumna Zaidi's acting skills and she is the reason I started watching pakistani dramas but this time I'm writing this comment specially for Dananeer. This is the first show where I've watched her acting and honestly she did an excellent job. I'm telling this because I've noticed nobody is talking about her. But I really enjoyed every scene of her.
