This Biriyani rice is used in many places because it’s believe that the smell of that rice when dum is broken makes it more delicious❤. Hope you have tried biriyani in Malabar area of Kerala where we use jeerakashala. Biriyani is love❤. Even Kozhikode biriyani has got a place in the worlds best foods. Hope you have tried it

Without basmati rice also biryani hoti hai. Jaise ke donne biryani and Thalapakatti biryani or Ambur biryani. Without basmati hai toh it doesnt mean its pulav .... 🤷‍♀️ We south indian people love these type of biryani. ❤ Dont call this biryani as Pulav 😅😅😅😅

Dindugul style briyani is good and the seeraga samba rice,(u can also call it jeera rice) seeragam is cumin(jeera) this rice looks like jeera and is a aromatic flavourful rice(according to a google article), but Dindugul thalapakatti briyani shop is quite overrated some are good and others aren't. And at 20:29 its not pronounced with the 'z' sound its koli but a 'zha'( ழ) sound which is unique letter in Tamil and Malyalam(as I haven't seen it in any other Indian language)❤️❤️
