I’m thanking this movie everyday! For helping me find my favourite band of all time!🩷 I loved Sing 1! It was a great movie! So when Sing 2 came out I knew I had to watch it. My mother grew up in the 80s and loved U2, so when my little brother and I were 8 she showed us the clip of “Where the streets have no name” but my reaction as a kid was “what am I watching??? I done get it!!”. But I always remembered that U2 are a huge band and the whole world knows them. 8 years later when I was almost 16 I watched this movie with my little brother and I got excited for some reason of the fact that Bono is in it. we didn’t get to finish the movie because of a silly argument we had🤣, so I went upstairs and watched parts of the movie on my phone. I watched Bono singing with Scarlet. After a few minutes I watched again the clip of “Where the streets have no name” but this time I thought to myself “OMG! How did I miss it?? What was I thinking? This is on of the best songs I’ve ever heard!! I love it!” From that day, which is more than a year, I’ve been listening only to U2! Every day! Before school, during school, and after school! Their music is one of a kind! Nothing compares to them!!💖 I think about them all the time!💜 On September 30th I was at the sphere, I saw them live on their second show with my mother, I still can’t believe that I dragged her to the other side of the world😂 to Las Vegas. This truly was the best night of my life!💜 Only a year after watching the movie and after being to Las Vegas, I realised that this big city in Sing 2 is based on Las Vegas. The Cristal hotel looks like the Bellagio, and the theatre looks like the sphere.💜 Because of the fact that I did not finish the movie, I didn’t hear this song. I’ve noticed it only a year after, and I almost cried when I heard Bono singing in the background at the end of the movie!💜 I love this song! And I’m listening to it all the time!🩵 Thank you Sing 2! Thank you U2 for helping me find the piece I didn't know I was missing!❤️ Love U2 so much❤️ My favourite band ever!❤️
