Sad really as they don’t remember their players also fought. However, I do think this is the younger generations. Not all are so ignorant. What is shameful is the club bowing to such ignorance

Celtic had a player who was killed in WW1.. Peter Johnstone. Another Celtic player called Willie Angus won the VC. But they can't even keep silent for a minute ever year to respect their own players. On top of that they claim Irish heritage and can't even show respect for the 49,000 Irish men who died in WW1. Two of these men were my great uncles. Thanks to Rangers for all the effort put in to accommodate the Armed forces and to ensure that we remember the sacrifice of all who died in war and conflict. LEST WE FORGET.
