Sing Hallelujah (Mark Hayes) - Piano Solo

Here's a little thank you for my mom. I don't know if I've ever thanked her for encouraging me to learn how to play piano. It started when I was 9 years old. Of course, all I want to do is just "thank my mom" and tell her that I love her. I love playing the piano. It's a joy. It's fun. It allows me to be creative. But, most of all, it allows me to play for the Lord, which is what I ultimately enjoy doing. So ... "Sing Hallelujah" is for my mom. Of course, my dad too... But, here's to you mom ... I hope you like it. It only took me almost a half a year to learn this ... LOL!

Amen brother, for me it was my grandmother who first paid for my piano lessons. She was a Christian woman and I miss her very much. All praise to God and thanks for this wonderful piece

+jenna ostroff LOL! AFter coming back here, I thought you were referring to "Great Is Thy Faithfulness", which is another of Mark Hayes' piece I learned.... Just take your time and don't try to rush things ... Let your fingers do the memorizing ... don't let a passage discourage you if you find that it's getting the best of you ... Pay attention to the fingering, as well ... You can do it, Jenna! Post your playing... .:)

You can do it. No problem. Just take a little at a time... phrase at a time.... you can do it. Also ... practice to progress .... don't practice to perfect. :) and don't let yourself get frustrated... Also ... Some of the runs in this song do require good fingering technique.... Good luck ... and post your results.... :) Tim
