When I was in school, my best friend’s mother who was born in Manila took me to the bakery to get buns. She would get taro buns and I would get red bean. She also got me boxes of Champorado to make on Saturday mornings after Friday night sleepovers. She also liked Polvoron (dried milk candy) and tofu dipped in syrup. I have to get forceps for my tool belt because I can see how the leverage point is different from tweezers!! I have a little 2” Ben Badis and it always makes me think of my husband since his name is Ben!!

Thanks for sharing those memories! You have tried all the good stuff!!! Every single one is my favorite and still regularly eat to this day. Now I feel like making Polvoron. 🤤

2 things I've noticed: 1. Not all of your containers have drainage holes?? 2. When you water, you do not soak your plants (like monsoon and then let them go dry). Am I correct? You are soooo musical! Take singing or piano lessons to enjoy music. I know every one of the songs you verbalize. I love music too. My outlet is dancing (lots of lessons too). This week I am going to Salsa/Bachata night.
@GrowingSucculentswithLizK2 күн бұрын
1. All the pots have holes. 2. They get soak enough and the ones that doesn't (hydrophobic) get special treatment via seaweed soil wetter. Thanks for watching and have fun with your Bachata night.🥰

Do you have to do anything with the seeds after getting them from the flower in order for them to grow?
@GrowingSucculentswithLizK20 сағат бұрын
I just separate the seeds from the shell and stalk. Below is a video link to the process. Thanks for watching, Jamie and have a Merry Christmas.🥰 HARVESTING & DRYING SUCCULENT SEEDS - kzbin.info/www/bejne/gKm6nWiOi65skKs

I have those annoying oxalis here in GA (USA) & it is a real pain when it gets in the garden beds. I have the pointed tweezers like you but I need the ones without the point, as well as those scissor ones. What are they called or where should I look for them?
@GrowingSucculentswithLizK21 сағат бұрын
Scissor ones are called Hemostat Forceps Clamps. You can buy them online and they come in different size and shape. Thanks for watching, Lindylou and have a Merry Christmas!🥰

I learned long ago; my plants grow healthier, when i play music for them from time to time 🩵
@GrowingSucculentswithLizK2 күн бұрын
They definitely do respond to a little music. I use to have the radio on while working in the garden and my plants was doing much better then. Thanks for watching!🥰
