Great review! I flew with SQ last Feb 2024 from Sydney to Singapore on an A380 and I had an amazing experience. Sorry about your IFE experience, I guess it's just bad luck, but I'm glad you are well compensated. Like you said, if it was a different airline, I don't think you'll get that kind of treatment. Good on you. Have you tried flying with Scoot? I think you should. I tried it with my connecting flight from Singapore to Davao (where I live) and... uhm... I think you should try it! 😁

Great trip report looking at the passengers here some of them are going to the eastern part of the United States SQ22 EWR and SQ26 JFK. Because they know it's better experience than the flag carrier PR126.

I'm done with SQ. Broken electronics incl seat adjustments a lot of the time, shabby seats, aging planes, overpriced tickets. I will never fly them if I have a UAE airlines option

I’m sorry? Aging planes? It’s quite the literal opposite. The A350 aircraft are very new. They are even retiring old planes and replacing them with new ones like how the A350 replaced the A330.
