Why does that section of the wing, raise up like that, at 1:42?

If you mean the speedbrakes/spoilers: Pilots deploy the spoilers during descent to keep the nose pitch up. This makes the flight more comfortable for passengers on approaches with high sinkrate. It also slows down the aircraft.
