Eddie Khoo I love flying SA their lounge at Changi is world class and hard to beat, if at all, and their first class product both in their Boeing and Airbus fleets is unbeatable, in fact I believe they’ve set the standard in first class travel ( and have done for decades) to which all others have had to match, the only other carrier who’s first class product comes closes would be Air France ( in my opinion )

The newer B777 F class isn't a pod but the hardshell is extended and curved in a manner that gives it a lot of privacy without feeling closed off. A shut off pod isn't a deal breaker for me. A lot of the time the walls/door aren't tall or private enough. People can always look in if they wanted to.

I flew singapore airlines business class from Frankfurt to jfk new york with an A380 4 werks ago. The seats on my flight were looking the same as the first class seats on the 777. Had sooo much space on my seat :)

I'm not really knowledgeable on luggage Ron (unlike my airplanes). I have 3 different sized Samsonite spinner luggage that are ultra-light. Good investments in my opinion. Pat down? Some security are very handsy and feel you all up (which is OK because they're doing their job). Some barely touch you and I'm sure I could've snuck a weapon through them!!!!

Thanks pratyush for your feedback. I use an Olympus OMD-EM5 for most of my shots. I also do some shots on my GoPro Hero 4 and Session, and my S6 mobile phone. Keep practising and try to keep your hands steady. Also mentally prepare how your video will pan out as that will help with telling your story. And find a good video editing software. I hear Apple has something free and works well. I use GoPro Studio. Best of luck.

Thanks Erwin. You should compare the video to my experience on the new B777 first class product. I haven't tried all the airline first classes yet so can't make an accurate comment on that. Etihad has a very strong hard product that no one can top yet. But I find Singapore Airlines to have far better service and catering :)

It's a fine balance. Technically it's a public space so it's OK to shoot, but if I'm told not to then I respect that. But obviously be as discreet as possible, and don't shoot directly at people. If asked, be open about it and tell them about your passion. If you look like you're being secretive and aren't open and honest, they are more likely to tell you to stop filming.

As for inflight dining, what are the options for people who don't eat Western food for the main meal? Rehad, some flights I use points and other flights I use money. Of the paid flights, my employer pays for some of them as the trips are work-related. But some of the paid flights are for holidays, so I pay out of my own pocket.

Depends on which lounge you visit. Some business class ones are packed to the max and the food is terrible. Those ones, I wouldn't spend too long there - maybe 30 mins max. The good first class ones where you can get a la carte dining and massages, I go bloody early and spend several hours there!!! ;)

Eddie your videos are amazing! They are kind of soothing. Heres a goofy question. I flew Lufthansa from New York to Frankfurt, then changed planes to Egypt. The last two rows of seats had been taken out and they had installed 2 treadmills! It was really nice to be able to walk a little to stretch your legs.
